Was in the mood tonight to watch one of the best movies ever (IMO), so I pulled out my Stand By Me DVD. I've never watched it on my DD 5.1 sysyem yet. Noticed on the back of the case it has Dolby Digital..yet, on the languages it only gives the option of English (mono)...so I take it it's DD just not DD 5.1? So what's the point of that? On my Yammy RX-V3000 it doesn't show the DSP as digital...just Pro Logic..not DGTL Adventure etc. Again, what's the point of that??
    Thanks, Andrew.

Dolby Digital is just a format for sound.

    It can be 1.0, 2.0, 1.1, 3.0, 4.1, 5.1, 5.1 EX, etc...
