I'm sure we've all seen our share of astute observations inscribed on the walls of public restrooms. Let's just say I'm glad I was sitting where I was when I read this one:
TOM WAITS FOR NO MAN
Any others? Here's hoping it stays clean...

Wayne State University, circa 1976:

"Coleman Young is too old for Detroit."

"Detroit is too old for Coleman Young."

"You're both too old to be writing on walls."

And, speaking of Tom Waits, the ever popular:

"I'd rather have a free bottle in front of me than a prefrontal lobotomy."

New Miami Bar, for years, if not decades:

"I don't have a drinking problem.

I drink,

I get drunk,

I fall down.

No problem."

and

"Time flies like an arrow.

fruit flies like bananas."
