I've been pretty impressed with the Dario Argento movies Anchor Bay has been releasing but I've never seen any of Michele Soavi's stuff. Looks like AB is putting these two out on 2/19 and I was wondering if they're worth the money. Any opinions?

I'm a fan of both films. If you're a fan of Argento, I think that there's a great chance that you'll like Soavi's films, too. Of the two, STAGE FRIGHT has the more coherent narrative--simple though it is (standard masked serial killer story you've seen a hundred times in American horror films like HALLOWEEN and FRIDAY THE 13TH)--but I do love the evocative style of THE CHURCH. Both titles are must buy films for me. I'm thrilled to finally have the opportunity to upgrade my Japanese LDs of these films.
