I'm gonna be putting bookshelfs speaker on top of my existing mini floor standers. I need some kind of isolation or damping material between the 2. What kind of material should I use? Thanks

Depends on ones budget. On the moderately cheap end, assuming the bookshelves are under 45 lbs. or so I would look at http://www.latinternational.com/inde...age-40020.html

    LAT Int'l Vibra-Killers, $39 for a set of 4.

On the cheap end if the speakers are less than 30 lbs., www.brightstaraudio.com Isonode feet are $12.50 for a set of 4 and they have a bigger size for around $20.

There are more expensive things too. While not likely appropriate for your application and probably overkill price wise, the best isolation device, I have seen, regardless of price, whether it is more or less money, is from www.gingkoaudio.com. It is most effection under transports (CD/DVD players, turntables) but does also help under other things.
