Okay, I finally got the Aragon 8008 MKII from my dealer to test drive for my MartinLogan Aeon speakers. I currently have Aragon 2005 and I'm hoping to get better sound with the 8008 MKII driving the mains only.
The big problem is the amp is 19" wide which won't fit in my rack. My rack is only 18 3/4 wide. I can leave the amp on the table but I'll need to stack a DVD changer on top which I don't think it's a good idea - too warm.
However, the Aragon has a V shape on one side which I can stick a 80mm fan on the back to suck air out instead of letting it rise. I wonder how good this works?
If it can't be done, I may have to return it. I can try it out for 2 days but if I like it, I need to find somewhere to put it.
Any idea would be much appreciated,
