Hi, I'm just too lazy to have to level up my characters at the moment, since I'm pressed for time. I just want my Kaori!!! hehe, Does anyone know if there are any non-Gameshark codes for Tricky like there were for the first? Thanx.

No, I haven't seen any posted yet (and I've looked, mainly trying to find the characters' trick books in printable form). To get Kaori is not too difficult, though, especially if you have played the original SSX. The learning curve is almost nil, and all you have to do is get a certain number of golds, so pick a character and go at it! Really, it only takes a couple of hours.
Of course there are the GameShark codes.

Chris is right, I've been able to build up a character in a couple of hours. The Showoff areas are even easier to me than they were in the original SSX. And I don't know if anyone has noticed, but you can restart your race if you mess up and stay within the current round (quarter final, semi final, etc...). In the original SSX you would be thrown back to the beginning of the challange. You may not see codes for Tricky for another month or so. The game companies will not release them so close to the game's initial release.

Yeah, I just sat down and played it for a couple days. Got Kaori to 100% pretty quickly. Was actually more fun than SSX.

Do all the tricks - take the medal move on...

Go back and do the races - restart helps alot.

My friends and I find this too be one of our favorite pass the controller games...

My only issue is the trick book requirements - I never seem to do just one trick

Good luck

They made it really easy to do the trick book this time around. Go into a showoff on any track, press start, go to Trick Book, and it shows you the next move to do. Just perform as many as you can, finish the track, go to the next venue. Takes about 30 minutes to do all the chapters, and it's really worth it to get the Uber board, which is still better than the Master board.
