well tony its simple, for me the stones arent rock and roll, i grew up in the 80, and i prefer a heavier sound to my music, that and i find the stones yeah their music is catchy, but not as deep and complicated as some other bands i prefer.

HMV is way too expensive for my taste, i will check mymusic, i have never heard of it before.

I usually like to buy from www.absound.ca they rock, but no SACD's only DVD-A but great prices and service.

John-Miles: I think it's your civic duty  to order that AIX Records dvd-audio sampler so us low income dvd-a dudes can see what your player is capable of [IMG].

    AIX Records Dvd-Audio Sampler Disc

I especially wanted to hear about this disc because of this (from the above link):

Well im not a ver civic person i guess, but honestly I would not be able to comment much on that stuff as im not familiar with the material.

But i can tell you this from playing the DVD-A's I do own, that the Bass Management for DVD-A is superb, i need a new sub now cause mine cant take all this player can give it [IMG]

But thats an upgrade for another day.

Honestly Like i have said before i can only compare this to the RP-91, but the Yamaha blows it out of the water in every respect possible.

I've had my 2300 for a couple of weeks now and I just love the hell out of it. The sound, the PQ, the build quality, I just couldn't be happier. I've been listening to DVD-A for a while now, but the 2300 gave me my first tastes of SACD and it's every bit as impressive. Until HD-DVD comes out, I see no need for upgrading to another player as long as I own a healthy 2300. Hope you guys enjoy yours!:b
