Squeaky door hinges (1 Viewer)

What's the best thing to use on squeaky door hinges? I've tried WD40 and it works for a short time, but it leaves a black residue on the wood. Thanks.

The people who installed all the doors in my house used graphite. It will also leave a black residue that you will have to clean eventually. However, it lasts for a VERY long time. I have woord floors though... With that said: http://www.naturalhandyman.com/iip/infdoor/infdoor4.html
