This may have been answered before I am sorry if it is a repeat, but I have a question regarding the location of the Sub driver and ports.
Will there be any difference in the sound quality with a dual ported sub in a rectangle enclosure if:-
1: The driver is facing forward bottom 1/3 of cabinet and ports facing forward side by side top 1/3.
2: Turn cabinet upside down so driver is above ports.
3: Driver in centre front and ports either side of driver.
4: Put ports on the back of the cabinet.
I am trying to understand when the ports are together or apart do they have any input to sound quality, and if either side of the driver is this a better method.
When the driver is closer to the floor, does it have more interaction?
