Splinter Cell demo in December issue of OXM (1 Viewer)

Hey,
Some guy on the Splinter Cell forum at gamefaqs said he already has the December issue of OXM and here is what he said.

They also said next issue will be a booster disc for Sega GT

I didn't get the disc, but I got the mag.

They gave Splinter Cell a 9.6, .1 better than Halo. They said it's the best Xbox game ever, and maybe the best game ever."

I went to two bookstores yesterday to try to find the December issue, but it wasn't out yet. Does anyone know when this issue might be out? These are the best playable demos so far.

hopefully the magazine will get here ontime this month. Because it sounds like a good one. I want more info on this sega gt expansion disc. Oh to have online play in sega gt.......moan.

Damn, doesn't it seem like we just got November's disc? Surely we have a week or two at least until December comes? I can't imagine getting a December issue in October.

I believe I read that this issue is due out on November 5th.
Some good demos! Can't wait for the Sega GT booster disc, too...although I find it hard to believe that they're releasing it so soon.
Better than Halo, my ass. It does look like a cool game, though, but it won't have nearly the broad appeal that Halo did, IMO.

My Xbox mag has a score of 9.6 for Splinter Cell. I haven't checked any other scores yet since Splinter Cell was the only one I care about. I'm at school right now and won't be home until late tonight. Seriously thinking about skipping my late classes to play the Splinter Cell and Panzer Dragoon demos.

I kind of wish that I didn't check my mail unti I got home. I have an exam in about 15 mintues and all I can think about it playing Splinter Cell.

It does indeed Dan.
I played the demo extensively ( A good friend my local EB lent me his copy he borrowed from the store) and I can tell you that it will be worth the wait.
The hype this one is getting is well deserved.

I got the disc.

I've only had a chance to play the Splinter Cell and PDO demos, and only once each.

From my short impression (maybe 10 minutes of Splinter Cell, 3 minutes of PDO), I am VERY enthused. There is now a good chance I'll be buying Splinter Cell, a title I did not even consider until now. If there was an online mode, I'd be all over it, but I think the single player experience looks like it is worth the price of entry.

I'll play both some more later today.

When I played PDO, my first thought was, geez, they HAVE to do a PD RPG like Saga. Pleeeeaase!!!!
