I'm sure this has been answered..search function down. Has the "burned in" subtitles issue been fixed with MGM's version of spinal tap? I read somewhere that it had. Is there a version out there with the original cards that say "shank hall" and the like? The version i have has computer generated titles for all the Tap "cards".

The MGM version is "fixed", meaning there are titles there now- they are generated by the player's subtitles- so they are blocky yellow titles from your DVD player.
But the "burned in" titles have not been replaced.
So, yes there are titles now- but no they are not the burned in titles. I think this is MGM's idea of "fixed".
