    Or it's just something Amblin'/DreamWorks has optioned, and Spielberg will have little to no involvement.

    Spielberg's next three films are War of the Worlds, Vengeance (working title), and then a biography of Abraham Lincoln. Liam Neeson has already signed to play Old Abe. Spielberg's got the history bug again.

    I read a David Hasselhoff interview in last months Empire magazine which confirmed this.

    IF this is true, it might simply be a risky financial venture on Spielberg's part. Considering the fact that this show (somehow) garnered the full attention and marketing potential of the international community, someone might see dollar signs when evaluating a big screen version of it. Though I could never see him sitting in the director's chair on this one. But a financial backer or producer of some sort, who knows. Just a thought...
