I just wanted to tell you guys that, even though I'm not able to bid on this item, I think it's terrific that you have made an exception to the HTF "no auctions" rule for the sake of a good charitable cause. 
And of course kudos to the generous folk who donated the item.
It might be an idea to do more of this kind of thing again in future (for charity, of course).
(I did try to say this very think in the bidding thread but, for some inexplicable reason, my post was deleted. I wasn't trying to thread crap, I was only trying to pay a compliment.)
