Who would win in a fight between Spider-Man and a Jedi Master?
    I don't know, that's why I'm asking you!
P.S. I swear that this is my final Star Wars-related poll! [IMG]

The Jedi would only have to control the mind of Spiderman and the duel is over.

Spider man is cool and all, but no match for a Jedi.

I almost hate to say it, but with Spidey's spider sense, the Jedi would be hard pressed to nail him down.

It would be a pretty even match, but I'll have to throw my weight behind the underdog in this fight; Spider-man.

    This is such a fanbot thread...but let's be honest: Spidey in a second, a half-second, a heartbeat...

As stated, he's not weak-minded, he's much stronger, much faster, and has that Spidey sense!!!

    Take care,

    Chuck

Although I lost a little respect for an average Jedi's abilities, I would say a Jedi Master would beat Spider Man rather easily. Spidey needs air to breathe doesn't he? "

    Howard:

"Excuse me Mr. Vader but could you please briefly demonstrate your choke hold on.....what's his name....the human spider, I mean Spider Man"?

    Darth Vader:

"All to easy. Perhaps Stan Lee has over estimated your skills as a crime fighter"

Since spidey sense offsets any Uri Geller sideshow trick, you basically have a guy with spider strength going against a Sir Lancelot knock-off armed with a flashlight.
The Jedi mistress should just be grateful that Spider-Man doesn't actually eat his victims like his namesake.

I think you guys are giving this whole "spider senses are tingling" thingy a little to much credit. Remember, Spider Man can only react, his abilities are almost but not quite precognitive. I would say it's doubtful that spider even have this ability. I'm a lowly human and I haven't run across a single spider I couldn't squash with one blow, and my reflexes suck. A Jedi Master can often actually see the future.

I just thought of something: wouldn't a Jedi Master who knows about anatomy be the most powerful warrior? He could apply some Force to the brain or the trachea or the heart, and kill anyone instantaneously.

Neither would be a match for my friend, Steve Guttenberg. Sorry, couldn't resist.

This thread is hilarious. I am curious just how Obi Wan could not just stop the snare that was coming his way, the one that Jango Fett shot at him to ensnare him. He should have been able to control it, just like he could control the cable that Spiderman shoots out. Perhaps his mind was not 100% on the present. He has much to learn!!! [IMG]

Jedi can see the future. Their reflexes and speed seem to be faster then spidey. They can control the very thing that binds the universe together. A jedi apprentice could beat down spidey. Especially a love-whipped spidey.

Spider-Man has the proportionate strength/speed/abilities of a spider. I don't think humans could just squash a human-sized spider so easily. That's where Spidey derives some of the power.
