Who would win in a fight between Spider-Man and a Jedi Master?
I don't know, that's why I'm asking you!

That only works on the weak-minded, which Spiderman is not.

Also, both Boba Fett and Jango Fett were able to temporarily ensnare Jedi with cables. Spiderman's webbing is said to be as strong as steel, so I think Spiderman could bind a Jedi fairly easily. I don't think a lightsaber could block it for long. After that he could just swing the Jedi around and throw him over a cliff like a sack of potatoes. My money is on Spiderman.

However, it the Jedi in question has the ability to shoot lightning, the match would be more even because Spiderman has no defense against that. So against Yoda or Count Dooku, Spiderman would lose, but against Obi-Wan, Anakin, Qui-Gon, Luke Skywalker, or Darth Maul, it would be Spidey all the way.

I almost hate to say it, but with Spidey's spider sense, the Jedi would be hard pressed to nail him down.

It would be a pretty even match, but I'll have to throw my weight behind the underdog in this fight; Spider-man.

Since spidey sense offsets any Uri Geller sideshow trick, you basically have a guy with spider strength going against a Sir Lancelot knock-off armed with a flashlight.
The Jedi mistress should just be grateful that Spider-Man doesn't actually eat his victims like his namesake.

I think you guys are giving this whole "spider senses are tingling" thingy a little to much credit. Remember, Spider Man can only react, his abilities are almost but not quite precognitive. I would say it's doubtful that spider even have this ability. I'm a lowly human and I haven't run across a single spider I couldn't squash with one blow, and my reflexes suck. A Jedi Master can often actually see the future.

This thread is hilarious. I am curious just how Obi Wan could not just stop the snare that was coming his way, the one that Jango Fett shot at him to ensnare him. He should have been able to control it, just like he could control the cable that Spiderman shoots out. Perhaps his mind was not 100% on the present. He has much to learn!!!

Jedi can see the future. Their reflexes and speed seem to be faster then spidey. They can control the very thing that binds the universe together. A jedi apprentice could beat down spidey. Especially a love-whipped spidey.

Spider-Man has the proportionate strength/speed/abilities of a spider. I don't think humans could just squash a human-sized spider so easily. That's where Spidey derives some of the power.
