According to the specs on the DVDempire.com site, the new Superbit Edition of Spider-Man is only single layered.

Please tell me that this isn't true. Can anyone confirm what it really is?

    Most likely a typo.

The MIB II Superbit disc is dual layer, but the film fits on 1 layer - this is the region 4 edition mind you, but it's still official Superbit.

I've seen some other Superbit discs which don't use the entire dual layer disc space too...

Gotta be a typo. Goes against the whole "Superbit" concept.

It should also be noted that the Spider-Man Superbit DVD also contradicts the stated SuperBit "process" by having the commentary by Tobey Maguire and J.K Simmons.

    What a joke.
