Am I imagining this, but did Sam Rami say that there would be an extended cut of Spider-man 2 at some point? Titled Spider-man 2.5?

If this is true, guess it's odds on it be out next May, but can anyone shed some light on this?

I remember this too. I think he started talking about it right when Spider-man 2 was released on dvd.

He did mention it. Raimi said there wasn't gonna be much added to the film in terms of running time, but rather they just finished up some CGI shots that were being cut back into the action sequences.

They so don't need to bother, it's a great film just the way it is.
