Academy Award®-winner Tim Robbins (Mystic River, War of the Worlds), Dax Shepard (Cheaper by the Dozen, Without a Paddle) and Kristen Stewart (Panic Room, Cold Creek Manor) star in this stellar, comical adventure based on the best-selling book by acclaimed children’s writer Chris Van Allsburg (The Polar Express, Jumanji). In Columbia Pictures’ heart-racing Sci-Fi adventure, two squabbling brothers (Jonah Bobo, Strangers with Candy, Around the Bend and Josh Hutcherson, Kicking and Screaming, American Splendor, The Polar Express) are propelled into deepest, darkest outer space while playing a mysterious game they discovered in the basement of their old house. Each roll of the dice unleashes new dangers on the young adventurers as their action-packed journey continues. The youngsters must endure everything from meteor showers and swarms of hostile lizard-like aliens to a rocket-propelled robot run amok and an intergalactic spaceship battle in order to finish the game and reach the planet Zathura. If they fail to complete the game, they could be trapped in outer space forever.

I saw this and thought it was a good movie. Much better than Jumanji IMHO. I assume it's a single-disc release, although the amount of bonus material makes me wonder.
