Just as J.R.R. Tolkien used maps at the beginning of his novels to ground the reader, so must we refer to England—circa 932 A.D.—to highlight the particular difficulty involving migrating coconuts...

The 2K Blu-ray was not the Director's Cut and this one isn't saying it either, so don't expect the Director's Cut if it doesn't say. What, the curtains? No, I never upgraded from my Director's Cut DVD because of this. And I do have the Laserdisc of it too...

The only thing on the DVD that did not get carried over to the Blu-ray (and might also not be on the new release) is the bit where the opening credits of "Dentist on the Job" (1961) play before the projectionist realizes it is the wrong movie.

That's crazy.

I had to go to YouTube and look this up after I read your reply.

I never knew this footage existed in the film.

Grover Crisp is pretty damn good at researching and compiling this kind of stuff. This probably won't make the 4k cut, but the question is, why not?! Sony could have hit it out of the park by putting together the ultimate cut of this film, that is unless, it was deliberately cut as it was not meant to be included.
