I’m not a steelbook guy, so I hope the announce a plain ole 4K version.

I am hoping that, although not indicated, the 4k release will be the extended edition that has been available in previous releases. I realize there is a shorter VHS version as a special feature so I am assuming the 4k is the extended release.

The extended version has the scene in Castle Anthrax where a remark is made about pussy jokes.

Yes that extended scene was put on the Criterion laserdisc for the first time- the previous VHS releases cut that out of the video.

Maybe my all-time favorite comedy, and I will probably end up buying it yet again. However, I cannot imagine that this low budget film can see any improvement with a 4K transfer.

Great question. For the sake of the purists, the original narration should be on one of the mixes.

Ah, finally, and at long last... Mønti Pythøn ik den Hølie Gräilen. In glorious 4K UHD! Including the majestik møøse! "Good idea, oh Lord!" "COURSE it's a good idea! Behold!" Ensconced in a cold-rolled steel box that could, actually, rust under the right conditions.

On opening day in Vancouver, everyone in the lineup to get in was handed a coconut, without explanation. It really enhanced the horsey reveal.
