    CULVER CITY, CALIF. (Oct. 28, 2013) – Academy Award® winner Pedro Almodóvar (Best Original Screenplay, Talk to Her, 2003) returns with his most over-the-top comedy, I’M SO EXCITED!, debuting Jan. 7 on two-disc Blu-ray Combo Pack* and Digital from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  This fun and riotous comedy follows a flight crew and their passengers in a precarious situation aboard a flight headed to Mexico City. Desperate to divert attention from the scenario, a trio of campy flight attendants launch into fits of lip-synching, boozing, drugging and matchmaking with the colorful assortment of passengers. Bonus materials include two featurettes-- “Presenting I’m So Excited!” following Almodóvar and cast members through a day of press, Q&As and finally the New York City film premiere, as well as “Making I’m So Excited!, a fun, behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.

    All aboard for non-stop hilarity from Oscar-winner Pedro Almodovar (Best Original Screenplay, Talk to Her, 2003). Shortly after lift-off from Madrid, the flight crew discovers something is wrong with the landing gear and their journey to Mexico City may be imperiled, so a trio of flight attendants work to divert attention from the rapidly spreading news.

    Wonderfully funny, dirty movie (but not pornogragphic). If you're looking for serious Almodovar look elsewhere. But if you fondly remember his early stuff this one's for you.

    Yes, we'll be grabbing this one on first day too ... a return to the days of 'Pepi, Luci and Bom and the Other Girls of the Neighbourhood', 'Kika' and 'Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down'. He takes the mickey out of stereotyping in such an exhilarating way .. the best airplane movie since 'Flying High'.
