It's (A) a direct-to-video sequel to (B) Hollow Man. That's what they call starting out with two strikes right there.

No Verhoeven. No Goldsmith. No sale. That's pretty much my response to Basic Instinct 2 as well.

Well, in Sony's defence, Jerry Goldsmith hasn't worked in nearly 2 years because a sudden case of death.

Well....like... d'uh!! :-/ I was merely stating my case why the sequel is less attractive to me than the original. They should leave well alone. Bloody Hollywood.

I suppose at this point, Christian Slater is probably wondering where Quentin Tarantino is when he needs him. He could sure use QT's help to resurrect his career. A real shame that he's been starring in a lot of garbage as of late.....maybe he should fire his agent while he still has a chance to make a comeback.

As for the DVD.....uh, no thanks.

Maybe it could be tracked with Goldsmith's unused score to Timeline. [IMG]

Might be so bad it's funny. The only way it could have any redeeming value.
