First time I saw this was at the Edwards Big Newport in 70mm on their main screen, supposedly the largest screen on the west coast at the time.

And yeah, going to caps-a-holic, this particular screenshot doesn't look too good.

StudioCanal controls this title outside of North America, and their 4K releases have been…. uneven. Some are very good, and others less so.

Well Ron Epstein disagrees with that assessment regarding the Sony 4K/UHD release here in the States.

I've always loved this film since seeing it at the cinema all those years ago.

I didn't buy the original 4K, so this seems like a good opportunity.

I wonder if any of those deleted scenes will feature the violence cut from the legendary NC-17 version...?!
