While DVD Review is saying it is a "2-Disc" special
edition, both DVDPlanet and TheDigitalBits are reporting
that it is a 3 Disc Special Edition,
which based on the
all the additional content, seems justified.
(I hope The Digital Bits is right!.
Either way, the content is a vast improvement!)
Just a heads up to clarify.

Does anybody know if this version is edited differently than the European version (in other words no nekkidness)? Can't stand censorship in any form or fashion.

Clint-
Well, considering that we already saw Matt Keeslar's
keester in the original US cut, I suspect that the nudity
on the part of the Fremen changing out of their gear
wasn't the issue...just the additional footage in general.
With 30 more minutes of footage, I seriously doubt that
the version we're getting in R1 is any different then
the R2 version.
But, that is just a guess.
