According to http://www.trektoday.com/news/200102_04.shtml Special Unit 2 has been cancelled. Althought, it had been renewed for 9 more episodes to give it a full season. Those 9 episodes were cancelled before being filmed after the merger with CBS.

ARGH! This was one of my favs. I loved the dry wit and humor, and the actor's chemistry was fantastic. The whole link/monster mythos was great. *shrugs* It was quite a fun ride.
