I have just purchased a home that have speakers through the entire house. Each room has two speakers with a speaker control. The control is the type with a transformer in it I believe for reduced impedance. 7 or 8 rooms for approx. 15-17 speakers. These are ceiling mounted. The thing that I found odd is that it is run with just one circuit (four wires). I had it hooked up to an old reciever that had 100w output, but it has since quit working. This was wired when the home was built, by the builder, so I assume there is a way to make it work. It may be that my 1993 kenwood has finally bit the dust. Thank you for your help!
