I am budgeting $1000 +/-. I am setting up a HT in small room. Rear speakers need to be small (wall mountable). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Considering Polk RM 6700. Is this too much or little for this Onkyo receiver. Any other combos I should consider?

I am using 6 JBL S38's and they sound and work fine with the Onkyo...

They are a bit large for surround speakers though.

The TX-SR600 and the Polk 6700s are a good match, but I'd get the TX-SR500 and then have a few dollars left over for a decent sub. Those 6700s don't go down much below 130-150Hz, and so they need a little support [IMG]

Are there features on the 600 you need? (It does add several features and a little more power).
