I have a aiwa mini stereo system and the speakers are blown.
I just want to replace the speakers. They are 6ohm rated
for 120 watt music power. What replacements can i get for around $150/pair?

How big can these speakers be? Nearly any bookshelf speaker will do ok but don't get to hung up on the 120 watt rating as its likely very liberal to say the least[IMG] For smaller sized nice sounding speakers take a listen to Paradigm Atom's. They come in a variety of wood styles (the cherry looks nice), are pretty small, are fairly easy to drive and sound very good for the money.

    RAD Micros

Pick up a pair of the micros on special, in real wood veneer, custom made by Brian. These sound pretty amazing for their size and are very small- about 6"x7"x5 or so.

Double check in the owners' manual to be sure you can use other speakers with it first. Some can and some can't. Some use a bass feedback loop that's not compatible with normal speakers.
