Does anyone agree with me that the speakers, and subwoofers section should be seperate?

I agree. The sub interest deserves its own board.

I think separates, and receivers should be divided as well.

I agree. Sub location requires very different placement than your Main speakers. [IMG]

I agree. I wasn't real happy when they divided everything in the first place, but I got very used to just going to the sub section. Sometimes I want to talk or read about speakers, but right now I'm mostly interested in sub talk [IMG].

I prefer it this way. A sub is, in fact, a type of speaker.

    Receivers are combined separates.

I prefer it as is. There is a lot of cross-over talk where people want recommendations for how much to spend on speakers AND a sub. Also, there is talk about matching particular subs with particular speakers. Same with receivers and separates, e.g. "should I get a receiver or separates?" I don't want to have to worry whether my entire post is on-topic or not.

Perhaps this post would be better suited in the Feedback area.

Personally I think the division is fine as is. Speakers and subwoofers go together like chocolate and milk.
