Speaker Wire (1 Viewer)

I read the in the FAQ about the speaker wire and I guess I would like other opinions on my room. There was already 14 gage wire run in the walls for speakers. Would You use that or run new wire? I was going to put in new base moulding and there is enough room between the sheet rock and the floor to get wire around the room. The room size ( if it matters ) is about 17 x 22. Thanks

Welcome to the Forum, Joe!

Since the 14 gauge is already there, I’d use it, especially if we’re talking about the rear speakers. Changing out to 12 gauge for them will most likely not result in any audible improvement.
