Hey everybody,

I was just wondering what speaker stands you all use for your mini monitors. I'm using mine as front speakers right now, and they're on stands approximately 16" high. I need to get some new stands because these are way too low. So what do you all have?

Mine sit on shelves with the rest of my gear. I have 12' of steel shelving along the wall holding everything. It is so much nicer than those tiny cramped AV cabinets.

I use the Premier J60's (26" tall) for my relatively heavy (for their size) EPOS ES11 monitors. I paid $160 for a pair in 1999 and did not realize Paradigm made them!

They are sturdy and have spikes for use on carpets.

I bought them because my wife thought they were good looking too (located almost 10 feet from the front wall

and 5 feet from the side walls, practically in the middle of our living room -- so they had to look good).

I added 20lbs. of weights on top of each speaker.

The stands can be filled with sand but I have not filled them.

I've been contemplating the same thing...
the only thing is I didn't want to spend $150 on a pair of stands...
I'm thinking about going cheaper with either the Sanus BF-24 (24 inches high) or NF-24...in Black...anybody have these that can comment? I've had a hard time trying to find the NF-24's for less than $80.
Sanus BF-24:

(the detailed description says 16" high but they are 24" high)

Electroshop.com has various models also:

I'm using Premier S30s for my Minis. Not very heavy, but with the spikes, they do just fine.

Bell O'Getti makes some very nice ones, and most of the Sanus are also very nice.

You might consider getting a pair of used stands. Stands are definitely something that you can buy at like half price used with little to no risk.
