My front speakers are not shielded and my subby is located directly next to my right front. Should I be concerned that the magnetic field coming from the large driver in the subby could be interfering with the front speaker?

I would have to say no problem. The sheilding in the speakers were mainly designed to reduce problems in TV's. The CRT's are VERY sensitve to magnetism and too much nearby can cause serious problems with the display. Speaker to speaker problems shouldnt exist (magnetically speaking) altough some sonic differences may be noted by moving your sub to a different location.
