I have a Sony HTDDW670 home theatre system.
Q: When I run my Advent television throught the HTS, everytime I change the channel the speakers pop? How do I rectify this?

I try my best to never use the Display for the audio source.

I take this is from the normal NTSC broadcast tuner in the display?

Can you try a hi-fi VCR for the tuner instead and feed it directly to the HTIB???

It seems it is a nasty anommily of your particular display?

This happen to every type of TV tunner/cable tunner unless they have the feature where it muted the volume at channel switching. I have no problem with my Proton TV set where it'll mute itself for 3 sec whenever you change a channel. But all other TV set I have all gernerate the popping sound when I switch channels.
