my 36" JVC HDTV is very prone to magnetic fields. I recently took my center channel speaker off top of tube and placed under tube. I also moved my fronts about 2.5 to 3 feet from sides off tube.

How about the subwoofer? Does that have to be moved far away also?

it is about 18 inches from stand/tube on floor.

If the sub is affecting the TV, you will see discoloration on the side of the screen where the sub is. If everything looks normal, then you’re okay.
