I have a pair of Mirage FRX-7's and attempting to baby proof my HT. Someone thought of a solution that involves putting the speakers in a horizontal position laying on the side. I imagine this would make some difference in the sounds the speaker emits. Any thoughts on this? Speaking of, any good advice on baby proofing Home Theaters?

I'm thinking thst if the speakers were ment to be placed horz. they would have been designed that way? keep all your equipment above 3 feet from the floor , place the wires under carpet or hidden, consider a cabinet with locking doors. turn everthing off when you are not around.
