I'm thinking I want to take my front mains off the stands and place them on the credenza directly on either side of my 50" LCD TV, which would space them about 5 feet apart from each other. Only thing is, my rear surrounds are spaced apart approx. 10 feet from each other on either side of our sofa. I'm guessing I can get my levels matched up at the listening position, but just wondering if this might cause any issues that may effect performance, like localizing, speakers cancelling each other, etc. I suppose I can keep my mains stand-mounted and spaced farther apart, but if I put them on the credenza next to the TV I can tuck my behemoth SVS sub in the corner up front. Thanks Much!

No real problem, your just narrowing your front soundstage, this can usually be somewhat easily over come by towing the speakers out some. Results may vary. [IMG]
