Speaker Placement - Microwaves?

    Im in a dorm room, so space is pretty limited. Would it be bad to place a speaker on a microwave, even if the speaker is sheilded? I dont use the microwave all that much, and could probably move the speaker if its bad for it. Thanks for the help.

    I can't think of a reason that would be a problem. Speaker frequencies and microwave frequencies are far apart, so they shouldn't interfere. Try it, if you notice distortion in the sound when the microvave is on, then move it.
