speaker matching?

    I have baught the JBL Ec25 center channel. I will eventually upgrade my mains. will any other JBL in the northridge series be timbre matched with my EC25 or are there specific models?

    You should be happy with any of them, since they all appear to use the same tweeter. However, you’ll get the best timbre matching with the the ones as similar to your EC-25 as possible - two-way models that have either 5” or 6” woofers.

    2 way? does that mean two different speaker sizes? in each speaker? as opposed to 3?

    Two-way = woofer and tweeter. Some speakers in the Northridge line are three-way: Woofer, midrange and tweeter. Examples include E60, E80, E90, etc.
