Here is a basic question for you. I just bought a Pioneer VSX-D811S receiver. It has provisions for Speaker A system and Speaker B system. Do I need the Speaker B system for FM and regular CD playback? The A speaker system is for the 7.1 channel surround,
Thanks for any comments.:D

Jeff;

Nope. The A speakers can be used for that stuff too. Your receiver will probably have a setting for stereo, which will give you just two channels of sound (right and left) like you would normall get from a CD and the radio.

The B speakers are used in case you have another set of speakers from the regular A speakers you have.
