    Bookshelf vs. floorstanding

I just bought an Onkyo TX-SR501 and have a JBL PB12 sub. I'm looking to replace my fronts, center and rears. I'm unsure whether I should look to bookshelves since I have the sub or if I should go with floorstanding. System is used 95% TV/movies and 5% music. EDIT: room size is approx. 12x15

I'm looking to spend no more than $400.

I was looking at the Fluance SX-HTB if I was going to get floors, or I've read the JBL NSP1 (bookshelves) have had good reviews. There are probably others that I could put together for under $400, but would have no idea where to start and not any good audio shops in the area to ear test?

There are tons of speakers out there with names I've never heard of, so I would love all the feedback from any and all of you.

    Thank you very much.
    Jason

Jason, please post here in Speakers/Subwoofers when asking for specific recommendations about speakers. The Basics area is for general discussion at the beginner's level.
