I think most everything has been asked at one time or another! Anyway, as I understand it, the distance between the front L and R should be the same as the distance between the seating position and the center speaker. In other words if your chair is 10 feet from your tv (and your center channel in on the tv) then your fronts should be 10 feet apart also. If the room isn't wide enough, say 8 1/2 feet, then as far apart as posible. That's what "they" say. Gene

I like them just to the sides of my screen. My screen is 7 feet wide, so my speakers are about 7 1/2 feet apart. Listening position is about 8 1/2 feet from the center speaker (10 1/2 feet from the screen).
