Right now im working with a 1200-1400 speaker budget (Receiver not included)

Im trying to get pointed in the right direction as far as good speaker brands to look into that have the best bang for their buck. Or make quality speakers in the price range.

The only stores i have have around are Tweeter(Polk Audio, Sapphire) and Audio Advice (B&W only)

So i really have no way to test a lot of these brands on my own. Im willing to buy online though.

The brands you listed are quite diverse. B&W is the premium brand, head and shoulder above the others. Polk Audio is the mainstream. I've never heard of Sapphire.

Personally, I like Revel, B&W, Martin Logan, Paradigm. Yes, you CAN get them for less than $1500.

audiogon is a great place to pick up quality used speakers, at a great price. I bought a pair of barely used Studio 100's and have never looked back.
