OK, I've been to a few dealers today looking at speakers, I've narrowed down my choices to these two sets. I'd like your personal opinion on which you would choose and why. I am using a Pioneer Elite DV59-AVi DVD/SACD/DVD-A Player and
    Pioneer Elite 56TXi Receiver.

    Here are my choices:

    1st set: Paradigm

    Monitor 7 (Front)
    CC370 (Center)
    ADP-370 (Rear)

    $1749/w tax

    2nd set: B&W

    DM604S3 (Front)
    LCR60S3 (Center)
    DS6S3 (Rear)

    $2000/w tax

Blkout, both choices would be a good system. Sonically there are some differences in the systems. I would purchase the system that sounded better to my ears. If you could A/B both systems at home or at the dealer then choosing may be easier. Both systems are good choices though. Good Luck. Let us know what you decided.

if you've definitely narrowed it to just 2 choices, see if the dealer(s) will let you take the fronts of each setup home. time for a test drive in your living space.

JUST my opinion but I was looking at the ADP-370 and the 170's.

I purchased the 170's and think the 370's are over priced.

Not sure how big of an area you have to fill but the 170's are more then enough for an 18x18 room.

HOWEVER - I'm no expert and take my knowledge from reading many many other peoples opinions on the net.

The consensus is the 370's are over priced.

"Trust your ears" is the audio-world's equivalent to "use the force."

It's the ultimate piece of advice. Take your favorite music over there and listen to it on both systems, take your favorite DVD's and demo them against both speaker sets. I'm a big fan of classical music, and heavy metal... and I love the part of LotR FotR when Pippen knocks the bucket down the well. So I bring Beethoven, Rob Zombie, and LotR FotR with me when I demo.

Only you can decide what you like best.
