7M$? eh ms probably lost it all in the sofa [IMG]

from the article though, it sounds like they will use it to pay the lawyers:

nevertheless it is very very good news that one of the big spammers have had to pay in some small way for their actions.

Yeah, that's true. It's like when the music industry sued a few teenagers.

But at least it's a step in the right direction.

    Hey John Doe!

Betty Lou says hi! She wants you to know you can get a great rate on a new mortgage!! She also wants you to know that if you set up the spam filters properly that your ISP offers, you can eliminate most, if not all spam. She also wants you to know that unfortunately, this may cause you to not receive an important email--not to mention that it will also come with the inconvenience and grief of having to constantly resist the spam bombardment.

Betty Lou feels that a better way of dealing with this is for the courts to release the home addresses of these monkeybutts so that we can send our letters of appreciation, for all their great offers, to their mailboxes--over and over again. [IMG]

Yeah, it is a shame that it's not like paper mail were I can usually take the pre paid return envelope and just drop it off in the out going mail box.

Yeah, my ex's father used to do that where he'd tear up all of those credit card applications and send them back to the company in the self-enclosed envelopes.[IMG]
