So have you all seen those Spam commercials? I think I see them on TLC abit? Kind of odd seeing commercials for Spam.. They're even somewhat campy too.

No, I haven't seen them. Has anyone tried Spam sushi rolls? They're pretty good. For the filling, you use Spam and pineapple.

I like them because they star Jay Johnson of Mr. Show.

Keith I, you're from Hawaii right? I see your post about the Waikiki theater below... Is Spam that popular in Hawaii?? Never knew that! How about Vienna Sausages or Deviled Ham? [IMG]

Yah, I've been to Hawaii (one day hiking Diamond Head in Oahu) and the rest spent in Kauai backpacking the Kalalau Trail and then a bunch of days in Waimea Park (not the canyon, not enough time!). However, we spent most of our time out in the forrests, even met a guy who lives out in the Na Pali coast. Gave him a ride to the post office to get his mail. But we didn't eat in any McDonalds nor notice any spam fetish [IMG]
I'm Chinese so I remember being mistaken a couple times for being local.. My sister gets alot of people thinking she is Hawaiian too.
