Anyone catch Tonights Ep? I've heard about it, but didn't know what to make of it. Now that I've seen it, I still don't know what to make of it. The guy doing the voice of MeatWad had a funny line in it, however :).
During the 'Episode Commentary', they asked, "When where the DVD's expected to come out?" And the answer was, "Sometime In June, I think..."
Anyone know anything about it?

Actually, it wasn't "Mommentary," it was a "new" episode (i.e. a different commentary). "Mommentary" had a commentary by the writers' mothers, whereas this new episode had one by the writers themselves (you could still hear the mothers' commentary in the background, which I suppose was part of the joke). They actually mentioned a DVD release in the commentary but I sincerely doubt it'll be happening in June (assuming they were being serious and not just teasing us).

Pardon me,

I hadn't watched it on my Tivo yet, and I made a VERY bad assumption; that the episode played last night was 'Mommentary'.

I would REALLY like to know if DVD releases are coming.

I'm pretty sure they were kidding.

So after the commentary on "Kentucky Nightmare," which was the 2nd one after "Mommentary," they showed the episode without any commentary. Then they showed it again with a third commentary, by the writers again, which consisted largely of them playing with an egg beater and trying to beat jellybeans.

I love this show.

any of you fans of Space Ghost watch Home Movies on Cartoon Network? One of the funniest shows I've ever seen. It's too bad some of these Adult Swim toons don't get more recognition...

Jack,
I only watched Home Movies once, and it didn't do it for me. Maybe I should try again.
But Sealab 2021 just kills me!

I didn't like Home Movies the first time I watched it, but I stuck with it and I agree with Jack. Aqua Teen Hunger Force is my favorite though.

To keep it on the topic of software, all of Adult Swim would make a great DVD (except for Baby Blues). The filler items like Captain Linger would make good extras.

I, too, miss Dr. Katz.

Home Movies is OK. Baby Blues is OK. Sealab started out really good, but now its just pretty good. I still love Harvey Birdman.

Maybe they should release a boxset of all the Adult Swim cartoons for the first "season"?

did you check out the Harvey Birdman attroney at law? Sueing to get custody of Johnny Quest from Race Bannon was a nice little twist

Makes you wonder about the original series

All the Williams Street series (Space Ghost, Harvey Birdman, Aqua Teen, Sealab, Brak) could share space on a DVD, I think. They all have the same sense of humor. However, I don't think it's necessary. There's enough of each (except maybe HB) that they may as well be seperate.

HELLO, my name is Bongo...

I'd buy it if they put it out.

And I also miss Dr. Katz. That show was one of my all-time favs.
