I am using a VGA to component cable (40ft)02835 HDTV 5-RCA/BNC TRIPLE SHEILDED RGB BREAKOUT CABLE and trying to hook to my ONKYO CP701 DVD player to the projector but I get no signal. In the manual, it says "FOR HD and Progressive sources use the Component to VESA adapter along with a Component cable (not included). Should I have purchased a long component cable instead? My next question is if I will be able to hook up the HD cable box when it comes with this cable. I am assuming not. I might need a video switch in order to use both? I have read that the projector has a good switch in it and maybe I should just use the projector for the interlacing?
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.
