South Park season box sets - R2 PAL or R2 NTSC (or other?)? (1 Viewer)

Now that it is apparent that AOL/Time-Warner will not be releasing the South Park episodes in order (and have opted for the idiotic "best of" method) in Region 1, I have decided to look elsewhere.
Season sets seem to be the way to go, and I have recently discovered that there are both PAL and NTSC versions in region 2.
My questions are:
1) I assume that South Park is video based and would not suffer the "dreaded" PAL speed-up (not that I really care--just curious), correct?
2) Which version is better?
3) Are there any other regions/versions I should consider?
(BTW, I plan on playing these on my region-patched HTPC).

I have the PAL version I got seasons 2, 3, and 4 from Amazon.co.uk . The box actually says it is for regions 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Region 1 is the only one missing.
I did not notice any speed up. I believe you are right, since South Park is video then they convert the 60 Hz to 50 Hz meaning no speed up. On film material they go from 24 frames per second to 25, hence the 4% speed up.
I do see some slight judder from the PAL to NTSC conversion. I'm using TAW's Rock processor to convert from PAL to 480p. But it is only really noticeable on fast credits. I've only watched the first DVD from season 4, but it is in 2 channel stereo. The picture is very good.
Where can you get the NTSC versions?

Hmmm... when I first checked I could have swore that more than the first two seasons were available in region 2 NTSC box sets, but alas, I must have been hallucinating.
