Here's my situation: I'm flush mounting my rear projection in a wall. My builder is framing out a "box" above the set to serve as a cubby hole of sorts for my center channel speaker. I would rather not have the speaker (and its cubby hole) showing, though. What are my options for something to cover up the hole? Are grills available? Or should I just pick up some white grill cloth from Parts Express and make my own?

    Patrick,

If you’re custom building a cubbyhole for your speaker, it only stands to reason that you will have to custom-build a grill as well. It really isn’t hard. You can find suitable cloth at a fabric store. Some kind of knit that stretches will probably work best, and with a low thread count: The more light you can see through it, the better it will pass the high frequencies.
