I glanced over a document explaining how to place your speakers using the radioshack sound level meter, now that I have the meter I can't find the article? Does anyone know the link?

    Uhhhh..

You use the SPL meter to compensate for less-than-perfect speaker placement/distances/alignment/sizes. The meter does not tell you WHERE to place speakers.

I belive the FAQ/Primer also has speaker placement advice. Follow this first, then use the SPL meter as a final step.

Thanks, the layout of my room has restricted the speaker placement into some tight spots, I don't really have a lot of lead way right now. But, I will adjust my levels.

I really did a poor job of asking the question I guess, the link above was what I was looking for, I had read it before, but couldn't find it again.
