sound and viseo not synchronised (1 Viewer)

hi, iv just set up a small cinema room but a lot of the films im watching are awful to watch because the sound and video arent at the same time. is there anything i can buy to put a delay on the video? cheers

What equipment are you using, and how do you have the components connected?

iv got the blu ray player connected to a onkyo tx-sr 607 av receiver with the speakers wired straight into this for the surround sound and then a 20m hdmi output to a optoma hd67 projector. there is an av sync on the receiver but it seems to make it worse
